A COUPLE living with a "swamp" in their back garden say it has made moving into their dream first home a nightmare.
Paddy Harper and his girlfriend Amber, moved into a £300,000 new-build from Bellway at Summerville Gardens in Dalkeith, Midlothian, in August 2022.
But problems quickly emerged with persistent flooding in their back garden.
The water runs down from a farmer's field at the rear of their home and images show the garden in a constant swamp-like state.
