THE brother of a detained Scot has branded David Lammy's comments "ridiculous" after the new Foreign Secretary said there was a "judicial system taking place" in India.
Lammy visited New Delhi, where he raised Jagtar Singh Johal's case with his Indian counterpart.
He said the UK Government wanted to "see progress" in the legal case against the Dumbarton man.
Speaking in India, Lammy said: "We want to see progress and the judicial system take its course.
