GLASGOW claimed their first win of the season in style last night as skipper Kyle Steyn led from the front with two tries.

Matt Fagerson, Rory Darge, Jamie Dobie and Euan Ferrie also touched down for the URC champions.

The Italians had forward Scott Scrafton sent off just before half-time and also had two men banished to the bin after the break.

They gave as good as they got for a lot of the first half but were well beaten in the end as Warriors bounced back from last week's 20-19 loss to Ulster.

Boss Franco Smith said: "It's definitely progression from last week and not on the scoreline, more from the attack side of things..

"There were a few early season stumbling blocks but we'll sort them out.

"We didn't talk much about the loss last week. Tonight was an important step. We missed opportunities but I'm happy with the performance.
