KEIR Starmer has accused Elon Musk of peddling far-right lies over the child grooming gangs scandal.
The PM warned the vitriol is putting politicians at risk as he revealed Jess Phillips has been targeted after the tycoon's outrageous rants aimed at her.
Donald Trump's key adviser Musk claimed Starmer was "complicit" in the crimes after rejecting a fresh probe into the vile gangs.
He also urged the US to "liberate the people of Britain from their tyrannical government". And the world's richest man accused women and girls safeguarding minister Phillips of being an "apologist" for sex abusers and branded her a "witch".
Starmer also said the Tories were jumping on the bandwagon by A joining the call for a new inquiry, after one was published in 2022 and they failed to act on any of the recommendations.
The PM said: "Those who are spreading lies and misinformation as far and as wide as possible, they're not interested in victims.
"They're interested in themselves.
Jess Phillips does not need me or anybody else to speak on her behalf. But when the poison of the far right leads to serious threats to Jess and others, in my book, a line has been crossed.
"I enjoy the cut and thrust of politics, the robust debate, but that's got to be based on facts and truth, not on lies, not on those who are so desperate for attention that they're prepared to debase themselves and their country.
"What I won't tolerate is this discussion based on lies without calling it out. I won't tolerate politicians jumping on the bandwagon simply to get attention."
