OVERJOYED rescuers have been reunited with a pack of abandoned dogs they saved a year ago in a terrible state.
Pooches Toffee, Charlotte, Rae, Meadow, Glen and Brodie are all now thriving after being found starving and exhausted.
The heartwarming reunion came 12 months after the incident prompted people from across the country to donate thousands of pounds for the care of the animals.
Ten of them were found roaming on the B719 between Moffat and Greenhillstairs on July 9 last year.
They were exhausted, terrified, underweight and in terrible condition.
