THE number of petrol cars on British roads has peaked this year and is set to tumble by more than 40 per cent over the next decade, according to a report.
Auto Trader estimates that there were 18.7million petrol-powered cars on roads this year, but this will steadily fall from 2025 - to 11.1million by 2034.
