Photographer mailman's snaps of forgotten Scotland go on show

BLIZZARDS, war and elephants are just some of the subjects in a stunning display of a postie's pics.

George Normand, who was born in Cupar, Fife, started taking photographs in the 1890s when he was covering 18 miles a day on foot.

The postman was just 18 and did four rounds a day, starting at 6 am and finishing at 9 pm.
