KEELAN ADAMS used to work as a barista with Costa Coffee.
But on Saturday, the 22-yearold had Falkirk fans licking their lips in appreciation of a debut he could only have dreamed about.
Just last season, Adams was playing for Cumbernauld Colts in the Lowland League but after being snapped up by Bairns boss John McGlynn, he's relishing the challenge of Championship football with the League One title-winning invincibles.
Usually a right-back, Adams was slotted in at centre-half because of defensive injury problems that saw Coll Donaldson and Tom Lang sidelined.
He strolled through the match showing a calm authority as second-half goals from Dylan Tait and Ross MacIver ensured classy Bairns got their Cup campaign off to a flying start against a hugely disappointing Dundee United.
And Adams said: "It was really good. It was my first time playing in front of a big crowd and I managed to put on a wee bit of a show.
"United are a very good side who won the championship last season but we know that we have good players as well.
