David is shootout hero on night oi drama

DAVID RAYA finally ended Arsenal's Champions League curse after he was the hero of a dramatic penalty shoot-out.

The Gunners keeper saved two spot-kicks to send Arsenal into the quarterfinals for the first time since 2010 after a night of nerves at the Emirates as Porto pushed all the way.

The whole crowd were left biting their nails but Raya celebrated wildly on what will go down as an unforgettable season for the Arsenal No.1.

Arsenal have been scoring goals for fun in the Premier League, blowing teams away with their all-out attacking style. But Porto's defence was marshalled by wily old campaigner Pepe as the ex-Real Madrid defender headed, kicked and tackled anything that moved.
