A HIGH school has celebrated the unique accolade of five of its former pupils taking to the field together for Celtic.

St Ninian’s High School in Kirkintilloch, near Glasgow, was quick to praise its former pupils during Celtic’s 5-0 Scottish Cup victory against Higland League outfit Buckie Thistle on Sunday.

Manager Brendan Rodgers opted to bring on Anthony Ralston, Mikey Johnston, Stephen Welsh and Rocco Vata, and handed Daniel Kelly a debut in the second half.

And Johnston teed up Vata, son of former Celtic and Albania star Rudi, for the fifth goal.
