A MUM has told how her "world stopped" when she got skin cancer after using sun beds for 26 years.
Nicola McFadden, 42, from Glasgow, began using tanning lamps when she was 16 and says she was unaware of the dangers associated with the beds until she found a lump on her leg last year.
The nursery teacher was referred to a dermatologist with potential cancer spots in several areas of her body found.
Nicola said: "I noticed a mark on my leg, which was raised but flat. It was like ice going through my veins. I knew something was wrong.
