A COUPLE who live in a Stewart Milne Group home fear they've been left to live on a building site after the firm collapsed.
Keith and Elizabeth Hamilton, both 68, moved into the new-build property at the Shawfair estate in Danderhall, Midlothian, in March 2022.
They made the move after leaving their home in the West Midlands.
After they moved in, building work on other homes continued until Monday, when the firm went bust.
Keith said: "We are all anxious about the state the site has been left in, the security of the area, and the unfinished work including pavements and those sorts of things.
