Goodwin blasts his 'sloppy' United as Diamonds sparkle
UP IN THE AIR

DUNDEE UNITED'S title challenge lost its shine as two second-half goals saw the Diamonds cut through their hopes at Tannadice.

Gabby McGill and Josh O'Connor sealed the points for Airdrie on a night when Rhys McCabe's men were sparkling.

United remain top of the table but Raith Rovers are now level on 51 points following their 0-0 draw at Morton.

Frustrated Tangerines boss Jim Goodwin said: "It was a disappointing evening for us, we were poor throughout, particularly in the first half and were very sloppy at times.

"I haven't had to be too critical of the group all season.

The last game we lost at Raith we were brilliant on the night and deserved to win the game.
