A LEADING manufacturer of single-use vapes has launched a recycling scheme amid calls for them to be banned in Scotland.
Last month the Daily Record launched a campaign to outlaw the products and shine a light on the growing ecological impact of e-cigs.
We highlighted how 1.3million of them are discarded every week amid a surge in popularity since 2021.
And, of those, untold thousands end up in general landfill - raising the risk of dangerous rubbish fires.
