HEARTS reckon they hit the jackpot linking up with Jamestown Analytics but chief Andrew McKinlay admits they need a striker who can cash in up top.
The Jambos' struggles in front of goal, including Lawrence Shankland's baffling drop in form, have left them propping up the Premiership.
Scotland international Shankland had been the main man in the past two seasons, hitting a remarkable 59 goals. This term, though, the 29-year-old has just one in 21 appearances for his club.
And chief exec McKinlay is adamant recruiting more firepower with the help of Tony Bloom's analytics firm is their priority next month. He said: "We've already approved, as a board, the finances available to look at that.
"There's a particular striker we're looking at but not just one-often you don't get your first choice.
"We're looking at a few, all of whom have come from Jamestown. We're all aware the priority would be a striker."
