WE'RE OUT OF CONTROL

GREG TAYLOR admits Celtic are suffering from a loss of control.

And the Parkhead defender insists his side simply can't afford to lose focus as well or their title vision will become hazy.

Taylor and his team-mates went through another hugely frustrating afternoon on their own ground when held to a 1-1 draw by Kilmarnock.

Brendan Rodgers' team had the game in the grasp of their hand having been handed a first-half lead by top scorer Kyogo Furuhashi.

Entering the second period Celtic had the chance to step on the gas and race away from their Ayrshire opponents and put a cap on an important victory.

But instead the toiling hosts lost control and hit another big title bump when Derek McInnes' side forged a deserved stoppage-time equaliser.

That brought a cascade of anger from the home stands at the frustration of two more dropped points in the flag fight.

Taylor could fully understand the frustration of the supporters.

What he found more difficult to comprehend was the way the game veered off their intended course.

With a 1-0 lead on their own patch, Taylor expected his team to advance from that position of strength and further punish tiring rivals.

But Celtic failed to make Killie wilt, leaving the door open for them to snatch their point and plunge Parkhead into angst.

Taylor said: "In the first half we were pretty dominant. We were just waiting on that opportunity coming and Kyogo took it. We had good control of the game but in the latter stages, we lost that control.

"That's disappointing and it's about us trying to work out why that is.
