A TRAUMATISED woman has told how steroid cream burned her skin so badly she now doesn’t recognise herself in the mirror and can barely move because of the pain.
Nicole Mackenzie started using the topical cream to treat eczema just over a year ago but says in six months it had “eaten away” her skin beyond repair.
The 26-year-old’s condition became so bad that in October last year she had to move out of her flat with her boyfriend to live at home with her mum , w here she describes her days as “empty and painful”.
