THE Tories are said to be holding talks about scrapping inheritance tax in a bid to stay in power.

It is claimed Downing Street is considering abolishing the levy to shore up votes in “blue wall” seats.

Supporters reckon the move could be a “gamechanger” in the south of England, where the Conservatives are vulnerable to gains from opposition parties.
