GARY Lineker slipped lines from Monty Python into his Match Of The Day scripts.
The show’s former editor Paul Armstrong told how he and the ex-England striker, 62, were both fans of Life Of Brian.
He said: “Gary and I had a shared enthusiasm for Monty Python’s Life Of Brian, and occasionally shoehorned references into our scripts.
