YOBS pelted police with missiles on a day meant to honour those who fought for peace.

Armistice Day was marred by ugly scenes and more than 90 arrests were made as right-wing groups staged a counter-protest to a pro-Palestine march.

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak last night condemned "violent, wholly unacceptable" actions by far-right groups and Hamas sympathisers. And Scotland Yard blasted "unacceptable aggression and disorder" as hooligans threw missiles and a barrier at officers near the Cenotaph.

Police estimate 300,000 pro-Palestinian protesters calling for a Gaza ceasefire marched in central London, in the biggest rally since the Israel-Hamas war broke out last month.
