BEN STOKES is already plotting Australia's downfall this summer - as captain, batsman and bowler.
The England Test skipper is believed to have received cortisone injections in his troublesome left knee so that he can play a full part as an all-rounder in the coming weeks in the Indian Premier League.
Stokes has hardly bowled in recent months as the chronic pain in his knee had him hobbling about the outfield in the winter tours of Pakistan and New Zealand.
He has linked up with his new IPL franchise, Chennai Super Kings, and is set to take the field as a batter only in the opening clash on Friday.
