THE actress wife of movie legend Brian Blessed has died.
Hildegard Neil, who he once described as his “wonderful wife”, passed away aged 84.
Brian’s spokesman said she died at home in Surrey last month “after a long, brave fight against cancer and a heart condition”.
Hildegard wed the booming-voiced star in 1978 – nine years after they appeared together in ITV Playhouse drama Double Agent.
