Happy Wanderer Nuno is hig on United's special Bruno

NUNO Espirito Santo has hailed Bruno Fernandes as Manchester United’s ultimate winner. 

Nottingham Forest’s new chief saluted his compatriot ahead of this evening’s crunch clash at the City Ground claiming he is THE competitive warrior in Erik ten Hag’s dressing-room.

Fernandes has taken over the captain’s armband at Old Trafford but Nuno says that the playmaker does not receive the credit he deserves.

And he claims that all fellow professionals should look to take a lead from how the 29-year-old sets himself up to succeed.

Forest’s chief said: “I have a big admiration for Bruno Fernandes – he’s a big player, a special player.

“He’s definitely one of the best players in the Premier League. He’s so competitive.

“Maybe some of the guys in the media criticise him but being competitive inside the game is something I think all professionals should have.

“It doesn’t mean you can ignore winning, drawing and losing.
