HE MAY have broken the first rule of Fight Club – but Mikel Arteta feels it necessary to address the treatment of Bukayo Saka. 

Arsenal’s England winger, 21, is close to signing a new long-term contract to stay at the Emirates.

He is also a key man in the title-chasing team having not missed any of Arsenal’s last 65 league games, the longest run in the division.

But Saka received yet more roughhouse physical challenges in the Gunners’ 4-2 win over Aston Villa last weekend. At times, during the first half he was left limping.

The normally mild-mannered, Bible-reading forward eventually lost his cool and angrily shoved Philippe Coutinho after being caught from behind by the Brazilian.
