The AI humanoid - known as Ameca and described as the most advanced robot in the world - looks scarily like the evil bot in the 2004 Will Smith movie I, Robot.
But punters will now get the chance to be dazzled by her when Ameca goes on display at the National Robotarium at the University of Edinburgh.
