MAX VERSTAPPEN has set himself the target of winning the final nine races of the season after rounding on the critics who claim his dominance is ruining Formula One.
The all-conquering Dutchman will become the first driver in history to win 10 consecutive races if he takes the chequered flag at the Italian Grand Prix tomorrow.
And the Red Bull driver, who has won 11 of the 13 grands prix so far this season, is determined to continue his dominant run as he closes in on a third drivers' championship.
"They cannot appreciate dominance or just people executing their jobs," was Verstappen's response to those who have suggested his success has fans reaching for the remote.
"It is nothing really new in Formula One, and I cannot do much with those kinds of comments.
