Goalscoring has been a real issue for United this season and their tally of just nine from their first 10 Premier League games was their worst total since 1972 and their second-lowest ever.
Under Amorim, United have scored five in their last two league games and look like they have got their mojo back.
Marcus Rashford has three in two starts, Rasmus Hojlund bagged two against Bodo/Glimt and Joshua Zirkzee netted twice against Everton.
The turnaround in all three strikers is remarkable. Rashford had scored just four in 18 games before Amorim arrived and Hojlund two in 13.
Zirkzee is perhaps Amorim's mostunexpected success and he was transformed against Everton after only managing one goal in 18 games.
