BRITISH light-heavyweight contender Paul Craig returns to the octagon at UFC 283 feeling re-energised after changing camps and signing a new deal.
And the 35-year-old from Scotland has his sights on a title run in 2023.
The man from Airdrie (16-5-1) takes on Johnny Walker (19-7) tonight on the undercard of former champion Glover Teixeira's light-heavyweight title bout against Jamahal Hill in Rio, two years after Craig dislocated the elbow of the latter in the only defeat of Hill's career.
Craig, who goes by the nickname Bearjew, was unbeaten in six UFC bouts before losing a decision to Volkan Oezdemir in July - but it gave him the push to make alterations that he believes can take him to the title.
Submission specialist Craig has ended 13 of his 16 wins in a grapple, but has now been working on striking and conditioning with a new team, with his output higher than ever.
