ERLING HAALAND has admitted Manchester City's all-conquering season exceeded his expectations - as Pep Guardiola's squad showed off all their silverware last night.
The Champions League winners turned Manchester blue with an open-top bus parade in the city centre to cap a near-constant knees-up since their Istanbul triumph on Saturday night.
Norway striker Haaland, scorer of 52 goals in the season and a record 36 in the Premier League, said: "I didn't expect the season to be so good." After beating Inter Milan in Turkey, City stars were up past dawn at their team hotel, celebrating with a DJ, before flying to Manchester on Sunday.
