SAM BURGESS hailed has been the greatest as British export to the NRL following his acrimonious departure from South Sydney Rabbitohs.
The 34-year-old former dual-code England star dramatically left his role yesterday as the Rabbitohs’ assistant coach after a fall-out with head coach Jason Demetriou.
Burgess, who recently agreed to take charge of Warrington from next season, was said to be unimpressed by the preferential treatment given to Souths players Latrell Mitchell and Cody Walker.
Burgess is an iconic figure at Souths and interim Wolves boss Gary Chambers (inset) said: “I spoke to Sam this morning and he’s dealing with it.
