NEIL ROBERTSON produced one of the greatest Masters comebacks as he rescued his bid to make the most of his late call-up.
The two-time champion, 42, was parachuted into the draw after defending champion Ronnie O'Sullivan's shock withdrawal on Friday.
Former world champion Robertson inflicted one of the toughest defeats in the career of all-time great Higgins (below) when he won 10-9 from 9-4 behind at the 2022 Tour Championship final.
And lightning struck twice for the world No.20 as he roared back from 5-1 down to stun Higgins 6-5 at Alexandra Palace, after the Scot's missed red over the middle pocket sparked the comeback.
