A YOUNG footballer rescued from a flooded cave in Thailand five years ago has died in the UK.
Duangpetch “Dom” Promthep, 17, was one of 13 survivors from the Wild Boars team trapped in the Nang Non Cave in Chiang Rai for more than two weeks.
They were eventually freed after a dramatic rescue mission in 2018.
