CROATIA coach Zlatko Dalic has piled the pressure on Rob Page by flagging tomorrow's clash as a Euro 2024 qualification decider.
The veteran boss raised the stakes ahead of the sell-out clash by suggesting the collision at the Cardiff City Stadium is a knockout game, with the winners likely to reach the finals in Germany automatically.
That is bound to up the ante for Wales coach Page, whose position has come under scrutiny.
Wales FA chief executive Noel Mooney (inset) has suggested that Page's position will be discussed if the Red Dragons fail to make the top two in Group D and Croatia's shock defeat at home to Turkey on Thursday has left Wales with a mountain to climb.
It means Turkey are top, six points clear of Wales, with Croatia second, three points clear of them.
Unless Wales can defeat Luka Modric & Co they are almost certainly guaranteed to finish outside the top two, with third place opening the door to a play-off battle.
