Sriharikota July 14:  In yet another landmark event in the history of Indian space exploration, the Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft was successfully launched from the Satish Dhawan launch pad in Sriharikota on Friday (July 14) by an LVM-3 rocket.

ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation) registered the first success of the program after the spacecraft was placed into Earth orbit as planned. Following this, the scientists shared their happiness with each other.

ISRO scientists who said that they are continuously monitoring the activities and journey of Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft, expressed hope that this time the lander will land on the decided target.

First country...: If the project succeeds in landing on the decided target, India will become the first country on the global stage to start exploring the South Pole of the Moon.

Russia plans to send its Luna-25 spacecraft to the South Pole in the next few months. However, before that, ISRO scientists are getting ready to make their mark in the space arena.
