Prime Minister Narendra Modi has urged the G20 countries to be prepared to face the next health emergency like the spread of the Corona virus.

While India is chairing the G20, India is holding various ministerial meetings. As part of it, a meeting of G20 health ministers was held in Gandhinagar, Gujarat on Friday. Participating in it through video, Prime Minister Modi said:

Programs implemented to ensure international health have brought eight health initiatives under a common platform. Innovations should be made to benefit people more. All countries should work together for that. Fraudulent financing of innovation activities and funding from different sources for the same projects should be prevented.

Equal access to modern technologies should be ensured for all countries. It will solve the challenges faced by the Southern countries in providing health services in eight ways. The move will also help achieve the goal of establishing international health coordination.
