Glenn Hoddle clocks up 82mph own goal on M25

The 66-year-old ex-Spurs and Chelsea legend was behind the wheel of an Audi SUV when it was caught on a speed camera travelling at 82mph. The incident happened at 12.36 am on June 16 last year, shortly after Hoddle had appeared as the special guest at a meet-and-greet evening at Bromley FC.

Police used images said to be of Hoddle's speeding Audi on the northbound carriageway of the M25 between junctions 14 and 15 in Hillingdon to prove the case.
