HE HAS two Oscar nominations and 13 Grammy Awards to his name, and is behind a succession of monster hits including Happy and Daft Punk collaboration Get Lucky.
But Pharrell Williams has insisted he is “not some huge pop star” despite his success. “I’m more of a shape-shifter. I can morph and my job is to channel,” he told ES Magazine in an exclusive interview.
“And if I were all about myself then I wouldn’t have that ability to provide other people with new textures, new plateaus, new colours and temperatures. You can’t do that when you make it all about you.”
