DEHRADUN:

He made the remarks while speaking on the inaugural day of 10th World Ayurveda Congress and Arogya Expo - 2024 at Parade Ground in Dehradun.

"Our government is working towards implementing the country's first yoga policy. It will play an important role in bringing a new revolution in the health sector by bringing Ayurveda and yoga together on a wider scale," Dhami said.

Dhami also expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for organising the event in Dehradun and said it is a matter of pride that representatives from over 50 countries and over 6,000 delegates were participating in the event.

"Over 250 stalls have been set up in the event that suggests the acceptance of Ayurveda at the global level," he said.
