BALLIA: A court in Ballia district of Uttar Pradesh sentenced a woman and her partner to life imprisonment for murdering her eight-year-old daughter, officials said on Sunday.
The court of district judge Amit Pal Singh on Saturday held Bindu and her partner Lala Rajbhar guilty and sentenced them to life imprisonment and imposed a fine of ₹15,000 each, joint director in-charge of the prosecution department PN Swami told news agency PTI.
