India bond yields little changed as traders eye fresh global cues

Indian government bonds traded in a tight range before ending little changed on Tuesday, ahead of a holiday, with a rise in U.S. Treasury yields weighing on sentiment.

MUMBAI:

The 10-year yield ended at 6.7753%, compared with its previous close of 6.7739%. Indian markets are shut on Wednesday for Christmas.

Indian benchmark bond yield continues to consolidate around the 6.79% level, which is seen as an attractive entry point for investors.
