NEW DELHI: The Congress Working Committee (CWC) meeting will be held at Belagavi in Karnataka on December 26 and 27 to launch a new "Satyagraha" across India against the BJP and its ideological fount RSS to "save the Constitution, social justice and uphold the democratic values".

The meeting will also mark the 100th anniversary of the Belgaum session where Mahatma Gandhi was elected as the party president.

The session, named "Nav Satyagraha Baithak", is also set to launch an "action plan" and programmes for the Congress for next year, aiming for the party's revival in key areas.

The CWC might consider setting up a dedicated party unit for election management and pave the way for an organisational revamp ahead of key assembly elections in Delhi and Bihar, two senior leaders said.
