JAIPUR:
According to the Met department, dense to very dense fog was observed at some places, including Kota and Dausa districts.
In Bhilwara, poor visibility due to fog led to a pile-up involving more than six vehicles, including a sleeper bus. Meanwhile, Kota experienced the thickest fog of the season on Friday, according to MeT.
As a result of the dense fog, nine trains departing from Kota were delayed. Visibility on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway dropped to around 30m, forcing vehicles to move well below the usual speed limits.
The change in weather followed an unexpected shift on Thursday, with daytime temperatures in cities rising by 5-6 degrees.
