Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Baba Siddique, a former Maharashtra minister known for his political acumen and Bollywood connections, was gunned down outside his son MLA Zeeshan Siddiqui's office in Bandra (East) on October 12. Two shooters -- Dharmaraj Kashyap and Gurmail Singh -- were arrested at the scene.
The third shooter, Shivkumar Gautam alias Shiva, who allegedly fired the fatal shots, was caught on Sunday while attempting to flee to Nepal. His arrest revealed clearer links to gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and details of his month-long evasion.
