FORMER CBI CHIEF SHANKER DIES AFTER PROLONGED ILLNESS

Former director of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Vijay Shanker, breathed his last on Tuesday, his family said, adding that his body was being donated to the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) as per his last wish.
FORMER CBI CHIEF SHANKER DIES AFTER PROLONGED ILLNESS

Shanker was 76.

His family said that the retired Indian Police Service (IPS) officer was admitted at a private hospital in Noida and was undergoing treatment for pancreatic cancer for some time.
