Bailey insists alcohol sample will be clear

IAN Bailey has denied drink-driving after he was stopped by officers on his way home on Sunday night.

The so-called person of interest in the Sophie Toscan du Plantier murder was taken to Bantry Garda station in Co Cork, where he provided a urine sample.

He will now have to wait for two weeks to be told of the results.

When contacted yesterday, the English ex-journalist, who had been at a trad fest before was stopped by gardai, said he couldn’t comment on the incident but he had spoken to his lawyers.
