ANDY FARRELL has revealed that Jack Conan, Ronan Kelleher and Dave Kilcoyne will be fit for the start of the World Cup.
Conan is rehabbing the foot injury sustained in the warm-up Test against Italy a fortnight ago and that caused the No8 to miss the training trip to Portugal last week.
Hooker Kelleher and prop Kilcoyne are nursing "slight" hamstring strains but Ireland boss Farrell has confirmed that the trio (inset) should be ready to go for the World Cup opener against Romania in Bordeaux on September 9.
"Jack is still ongoing," said Farrell. "Him, David Kilcoyne and Ronan Kelleher, they're not long-term.
"Whether they're going to be fit for next week for the final warm-up against Samoa, probably not.
"Will they be fit for the start of the World Cup and available for selection? Definitely, yes.
Of the 38 players still in camp, only suspended skipper Johnny Sexton and Kelleher won't have seen warm-up game time before the finals.
