Irish Cruise into Oscars luncheon

Stars paint the town green as they mingle with Hollywood elite

AN Cailin Ciuin director Colm Bairead joined a galaxy of Irish stars at an Oscars lunch surrounded by some of Hollywood's elite.

The Oscar-nominated director was with Colin Farrell, Barry Keoghan, Kerry Condon and fellow film-maker Martin McDonagh at The Beverly Hilton in California, with more than 150 Oscar nominees, including Jamie Lee Curtis and Tom Cruise.

Colm, who was also joined by Brendan Gleeson and Paul Mescal, documented his joy to be at the event with his wife Cleona Ni Chrualaoi on social media following their historic Oscar nomination for Best International Feature Film.

He posed with Steven Spielberg, Alfonso Cuaron, Guillermo Del Toro and cinematographer Roger Deakins and his wife James.

The couple joined The Banshees of Inisherin crew as well as actor Mescal, for a group photo.
