KNIFE VICTIM BLED TO DEATH AT HOME

- Pensioner held over fatal stabbing of ex juice bar owner, 37

GARDAI were last night still quizzing a suspect after a businessman bled to death when he was stabbed in his own home.

The suspect, who is aged in his late 60s, was being held on suspicion of the murder of dad-of-one Rafal Bednarczyk Jacyna, 37.

Sources also told the Mirror that Mr Jacyna knew the suspect who was being held over his death in Kilkenny city on Monday and detectives said they were not looking for anyone else.

It's understood Mr Jacyna, who used to run a juice bar in the centre of Kilkenny, was stabbed once in the leg during a row in the Meadow Way area - and died from the single wound.
