A 40-YEAR-OLD has been remanded in custody after being charged with the murder of a man in a hostel in the early hours of Wednesday.
Gardai responded to a report of a man with serious stab wounds following an assault at the premises on Harrington Street in south inner city Dublin at 4.45am.
Jamie Kavanagh, 24, believed to be from Clondalkin and who had separate accommodation in the building, was taken to St James's Hospital where he later died from his injuries.
