A MOTHER-of-three has been jailed for taking pills to abort her baby after the legal time limit.
The 44-year-old got the tablets by lying to a pregnancy service during a remote consultation in lockdown.
A court heard the mum had carried out online searches including "how to hide a pregnancy bump" and "how to lose a baby at six months".
The woman, who had three sons before becoming pregnant in 2019, did not see a doctor about her pregnancy because she was embarrassed, the trial heard.
